Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest and oldest national park, famous for the powerful Murchison Falls where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge before crashing down dramatically. The park offers incredible wildlife safaris, boat cruises, bird watching, and scenic landscapes.
The park was established in 1952 and is named after the spectacular Murchison Falls on the Nile River. Over the years, it has become one of East Africa’s top safari destinations because of its rich wildlife and natural beauty.
