Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of Uganda’s most popular safari destinations, known for its diverse ecosystems, scenic landscapes, crater lakes, savannah grasslands, and rich wildlife. The park offers exciting game drives, boat cruises, chimpanzee tracking, and unforgettable views of the Rwenzori Mountains.
The park was established in 1952 and was originally called Kazinga National Park. It was later renamed in honor of Queen Elizabeth II following her visit to Uganda in 1954.
